Biomass Boiler Systems

A biomass boiler is an alternative than can be installed into most domestic properties in replacement of a regular boiler which relies on fossil fuels in order to function.

There are many positives about these systems as they are not harmful to the environment and provide heating solutions for many homes. There are many different boilers which come with various specifications, this allows the appropriate system to be fitted into your home so that it can operate at a high capacity.

The more common fuel options for these boilers are logs and wood pellets although there are alternative options if there systems are build to perform at an industrial level. Due to the fuel source of this system it is described as carbon neutral.

Forms of Biomass Fuel

Crops specifically grown to be used as fuel e.g. corn

Animal waste

Agricultural residues

Wood waste from landfills

Chemical waste that has been recovered from machinery
